Does UV Printing really make THAT big of a difference?
Does UV Printing really make THAT big of a difference?
When we invested in our new Heidelberg CD102 40” offset UV press, several customers asked if it would really make THAT much of a difference in the way their printed pieces looked.
Since a picture paints a thousand words, you be the judge:
Auburn University printed programs for two commencement ceremonies recently. Both books were a one-color print job on matte paper.
The program on the right was printed by a competitor using traditional offset printing. You can see that the details in the photos aren’t crisp. The program on the left was printed by Davis Direct on our UV press. Even with one-color photos, the details are richer and crisper, giving the program a much better look overall.
There are many benefits of UV printing, but the primary benefit our customers appreciate is the exceptional quality, giving their projects a richer look overall.
